Extraction
The initial phase takes hemp biomass and extracts the critical components into a CBD rich crude oil using supercritical C02 or ethonal as solvent. The subtance is thick and dark like a mud paste. The crude extract still contains plant waxes that must be removed in later phases.

Distillation
The intermediary phase uses alcohol or steam to distill CBD crude into a refined oil containing 80% CBD. The full-spectrum oil produced from the distillation process contains an assortment of other cannabinoids, which produces an “entourage effect” that increases effective potency of the CBD.

Isolation
Some formulations require CBD that is isolated from other cannabinoid compounds. To produce CBD isolate, the hemp oil is further purified using a proprietary process to filter plant material and remove excess waxes. The result is a pure isolate powder with > 99% CBD. Because it is completely THC-free, our CBD isolate is safe for use by all customers.
